(Bradford and Calderdale against Climate Change) is the local branch of the National Campaign against Climate Change. We aim to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change, and to campaign locally and nationally for action to mitigate those dangers. We are non-sectarian and inclusive and will collaborate with any organisation or individual that seriously wishes to work for the preservation of relatively benign climate conditions.

Bradford Campaign Against Climate Change

This will be the news blog of Bradford Campaign Against Climate Change, created by Brian Collier, but I hope carried on by everyone!

News:

Climb against Climate Change, by Bradford College staff and students, made it up Pen-y-Ghent on Saturday 12 November and made over £300 in sponsorship. We will book a coach soon.

I will shortly be opening a bank account under the name of Bradford Campaign against Climate Change

There will be a public meeting about climate change at Bradford Central Library on November 24 at 7:30pm. Speakers from the Green Party, Greenpeace and Respect are confirmed. I hope more are to come.
